Able to take control of back of house on large events liaising directly with Client’s Head Chef’s and Managers Experienced in managing a team of porters and possessing industry knowledge to meet Client’s requirements on their events
A Kitchen Porter, or Kitchen Steward is responsible for assisting other kitchen staff like Cooks, Chefs, Supervisors or Managers. Their primary duties include cleaning the kitchen, equipment and organising food and other items in the stockroom.
The assistant chefs perform a variety of food preparation duties, including both cooking and supervision. Once they have the necessary professional experience, assistant chefs can advance to head chef positions. Head chefs have assistant chefs help with food preparation and cooking
Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
